来自加州、29岁的Miguel Migs以他对于雷鬼、灵魂、老摇滚、节奏蓝调、嘻哈与爵士音乐的偏爱，过去四年来制作的单曲超过70首，并且在Naked Music、NRK、Large、Yoshitoshi、Black Vinyl等独立唱片发行，成为非主流圈子里最响亮的制作人！《Colorful You》是Miguel Migs的首张作品，曾经听过Naked Music厂牌作品的舞蹈爱好者一定不会对这个声音感到惊奇。吸收了70年代末80年代初几乎所有R&B形式（迪士高，爵士放克，平静风暴，甚至又一些80年代早期的合成器流行曲），Migs的作品绝非具有突破性，但是却经常让人有震撼之感，这源于踏的录音特长以及将声音标志化的能力，而这种能力是其他艺术家或者厂牌经常效仿却无法触及的。在初步介绍之后，Colorful You 的前三个曲子有着异域的deep house曲风掺杂着Naked Music厂牌的常规声音如 Lisa Shaw以及一个新声音，无外乎 Joel Hailey，她也是R&B乐队K-Ci & JoJo成员之一。在"waiting"，"breakin it down"两首曲速放慢之后，Migs又以一些出色的作品将节奏加快。无论如何，Colorful You（ 以及Naked Music厂牌的总体作品）为舞蹈音乐由迪士高到浩室再到迷幻爵士以及后来的驰放的发展道路确立了闪亮的模板，他做得这比其他大部分都要出色，但是有时候也不免过于依赖肤浅的音乐结构而非音乐深度。
